Pier-Finger
Works like a traditional outrigger in the locked position – but can be completely lifted out of the water in minutes. Integrated “floater”, weighs under 90 kg, and requires no permanent installation.
Aqua-Lift
Safe swimming and activity for children, youth, and families. Stable, durable, and equipped with a non-slip deck. Can be used permanently or temporarily – even where water levels fluctuate.

GREENBAY develops flexible and temporary outriggers in seawater-resistant aluminum – lightweight, strong, and designed to withstand Norwegian conditions. Our solutions require no permanent interventions in the shoreline and can easily be lifted out of the water by folding or cranking them in. The outrigger floats, weighs under 90 kg, and comes with integrated flotation elements. Standard attachments to any wooden existing permanent or flexible dock.
With a standard length of approximately 5.25 m and a width of 45 cm, the solution provides safe and stable access without creating obstacles for boat traffic or regulations.

Each project is tailored to local conditions, safety requirements, and the intended use.
Complete Floating Piers and Custom Modules
Together with our partners, we can deliver complete floating piers that integrate seamlessly with Aqua-Lift and Fold-Back. Clients can choose the decking and finish – from standard non-slip decking to teak, Flexi-Teak, or other materials.
All systems are modular and can be combined to create everything from small swimming areas to larger activity platforms.
Universal Access –
Water for Everyone
GREENBAY is considering a new development project – Universal Access – aimed at making water more accessible for people with reduced mobility. The project is proposed by ARKITEK AS (expected start in 2027) and assumes public funding.
We have gathered needs and requirements from the Norwegian Association of Disabled People.
The goal is to combine Aqua-Lift with universal design, ensuring that everyone has safe, stable, and secure access to the water – whether for swimming, play, or boating.
About GREENBAY
Over 10 Years of Norwegian Innovation
The first website from 2010 shows the development of composite as a building material. We chose Compositeknik in Sweden to produce two series of five units each for testing and trials in Norway. A few years later, composite was replaced by seawater-resistant aluminum – more flexible, lighter, and stronger. The product could also be split in half using a special hinge, folded backward, and secured in either vertical or horizontal position when not in use. This was an interesting additional feature that emerged as feedback and a request from some customers. Consequently, we sought a new manufacturer and restarted the process in summer/fall 2024.
Historical development (timeline):
2012–2015: Market research, technical and commercial evaluation
2018–2022: Prototype and testing, technology search with SINTEF
2024–2026: Chose aluminum truss – and established a strategic collaboration with IDEA-kompetanse
